modernfeed.com

April 7, 2008 - 6:07 pm No Comments

Modernfeed.com is a site that is basically a search engine of all the online shows and content. It is a big TV guide to shows online right now. So lest say you want to search your show, well you type it in to the search box or find it by networks, A-Z, and others. When you find your show it will tell you what episodes are available and if you can download it to your Ipod or if its in HD.Then it will bring you to that site, if its on ABC, FOX, ex. and you watch the show. I find it useful although Hulu does a good job to if you prefer that.

PS: (I also saw it works on the Iphone)

Microsoft says that if Yahoo does not make a deal within three weeks, Microsoft will have to lower the offer. The deal right now is at $40-billion. “If we are forced to take an offer directly to your shareholders, that action will have an undesirable impact on the value of your company from our perspective which will be reflected in the terms of our proposal,” Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer wrote in a letter sent to Yahoo’s board Saturday. April 4, 2008 - 10:05 pm No Comments

Thats the tile of the up coming Windows OS. It is suppose to be the successor to Vista but it still looks the same. But again I don’t think it was supposes to look different just be better. It may have been out for some time (the news of Windows 7), but I thought I mention it because it is suppose to come sooner than suspected.

Take a look at the Wikipedia article for more.

ProductCart E-commerce Widget for Blogs

April 4, 2008 - 9:56 pm No Comments

You have a shopping cart and you want it on your blog. A new service announced today, will just do that. From what I can see its basically a RSS feed of your product. If you look a the picture below you will see it is just pictures lined up with tiles which you can click on and are redirected to your shopping cart online. It is a widget which  can be added to blogging services like blogger. However the big down side is it only works with Early Impact’s ProductCart e-commerce products”". That is a big down fall. Just because of that I probably would not use it, but if you are a user of the Early Impact products then this just may be for you.

PS: Here is the link to this widget.
